PIBG AGM 2011

This year the PIBG AGM and the UPSR Rewards Day will be held on Sunday, 27/3/11 at the 'ruang legar'. All ex-students who will come to take the rewards have to abide by the rules set by the school:

1. The PIBG AGM will start at 2pm.

2. Ex-students have to report to the teachers' in charge at the library at 3pm.

3. Students have to wear proper attire - secondary school uniform to the event. Failing to follow this simple rule, the school can ask the student to go home and change. (happen before).

4. Students are not allowed to walk around the school compound.

5. Follow instructions when want to go to the rest room.

6. Please follow the teachers' instructions from time to time, especially when the rewards presentation will start, Example - lining up according to 7A's......to 3A's and photo sessions.

7. Parents are encourage to drop the ex-students and come back at a later time (maybe 5pm) if they are not involve in the PIBG AGM (no more child/ren studying at this school). Anyway parents concern can still attend as

outsiders.

8. Ex-students who are not invited to this event are not allowed to attend or enter the library to visit friends....etc

9. Any enquiries, call the ex-class teachers or school admin. For 6M students, please contact Mdm. Lee Hooi Lon. She will incharge of this class as the former teacher had transfered.

10.Students who obtained 3As and above and must pass all other subjects (at least C) are eligible for the rewards.

11 Any update will be posted on this blog, so students can log in prior to the cemerony.

School 10th Anniversary Celebration

The PIBG will organise a fund raising dinner to celebrate the school 10th anniversary celebration. The details as below :

Date/Day : 26/2/11 Saturday

Time : 7.00pm

Programmes : Speeches, performances, dinner.....etc

Donations : RM5,000 above will have the opportunity to be VVIP on stage

RM1,000 above will have the opportunity to be VIP on stage

RM500.00 will be given 2 tickets

RM50.00 minimum perhead

After a long time, now only I free to post the school result. As we all know, our school still maintained the No. 1 status in Selangor.

LATEST NEWS - NOVEMBER

1. SJKC TTCL will host the Integrasi 1Malaysia programme which will be held on the 1/11 from 730am-1pm. Our school will be working together with SK DOJ and SJKT TS to make this programme a success. Each school will be represented by 200 students, total 600 students. Over 30 teachers from SJKC TTCL will help out in this programme. The main objective is to foster unity among different races in school. Year 1-3 students will be rested on this day while year 4 and half of year 5 students have to attend normal class. The rest of Year 5 and all Year 6 students of SJKC TTCL will be involved in traditional games, Senaman 1Malaysia and singing patriotic songs.

2. Basketball 3 0n 3 will be held on 2/11.

3. Childrens' Day will be held on 4/11. As normal, talentime competition will be held.

4. 5-6/11 - Teachers' trip to Pahang. Tha main attraction is to watch the sunrise in Sg. Lembing.

5. 13/11 - Sekolah Wawasan will host the National Level of Childrens' Day Celebration.

6. 19/11 - Year 6 students farewell dinner at Sekolah Sri Sedaya.

LATEST DEVELOPMENT

1. 22-23/10 - School's Prefect Board, Librarians and Class Monitors from Year 3-6 have visited Malacca for 2 days 1 night. They visited Yakult Factory, Rumah Kanak-kanak Terencat Akal, Jonker Walk, historical places around Malacca. They didn't go to Malacca Zoo due to heavy rain. It was a success.

2. 27/10 - Year 6 went to FRIM, Kepong for jungle trekking and canopy walk. Then to PetroSains in KLCC and Karyaneka. This trip was organised by the Science teachers.

3. 16/10 - Selected students (bright students from Year 1-6) sat for an exam on listening skills and written test. This programme was endorsed by Education Ministry under the patron of Dato' Dr. Ir Wee Ka Siong to improve and upgrade the BM and English standard of SJKC. At the end, best 3 students from each Year 1-6 were selected to represent school to compete in the state level competition on 20/11.

4. Our student, Foo Zhi Yu (Year 5B) excel in the English Written Competition State level. He got 4th place. He also excel in the Sin Chew Jit Poh competition.

5. Our school boys' basketball team under 10 got 2nd place in the Inter-School Basketball Competition Petaling Perdana District. We lost to SJKC Serdang Baru in the final by a point only. Two boys were selected to represent the district and our district emerged champion. One of our player was chosen to be the best player of the tournament. Congrats.

6. Congrats to all students who excel in Maths Olympiad too.

7. And other sports like gymnastics, swimming and squash.

This year the school annual sport day will be held on Sunday, 25 April. The actual date was fixed on 18 April but due to some technical problem, it was postponed. The reason- the school field will be used for Cricket Competition MSSD District Level. So, practises and rehersals will be affected. Anyhow, for ex-students, you can come to give support and see your ex-teachers.

1. There will be a cross-country (merentas desa) for students from year 4-6 on 3/2/10. The event will be held on the school compound only(1-2 rounds of Sek Wawasan).

2. There will be a lion dance performance and art-drawing/craft on CNY theme. The event will be held on 6/2/10 starting from 8am. The lion dance performance will be held at the Dataran Wawasan. Students will be given oranges and angpows by the PIBG. The art drawing/crafts will be held in the classrooms.

For the school session 2010, there will be some changes to the schooling hours. From Monday - Friday, the school will starts at 7.40am. On Monday, Wednesday and Friday, students will go home at 1.00pm. On Tuesday and Thursday, the students will go home at 1.30pm. Another news is that Miss Tan Sing Ying will be transfered back to her hometown in Kedah effective 1/1/10. The school committee members would like to wish her all the best in her future undertakings. Lastly, the school fan club committee members would like to wish all our teachers, PIBG members, parents, students, ex-students, supporters, communities and fans HAPPY NEW YEAR 2010 and hopefully the new year will be as great or better than the year 2009. 1. Prefects, librarian, class monitor, basketball team (they are district champion, remember?) from year 3 to 6 went for a trip to Perak from 6th to 7th Nov. The places visited were :

1. On the 1st Oct, our school received a new headmistress - Mdm Lee Hooi Gaik. She's 51 years old. She hails from Alor Setar, Kedah. She was transfered here from SJKC Chap Guan, Batu Arang.

2. On the 10th - 11th Oct, the teachers went to Cameron Highlands for LADAP activities.

3. On the 17th Oct, our former h/m - Mr. Tan who is now the head of SJKC Kheow Bin pays us a visit with 3 basketball friendlies. We lost all.

4. On the 9th Oct, 7 schools involved in the RIMUP activities in the Wawasan Hall.

5. On the 30th Oct, Director-General of Education, Tan Sri Alimudin came to Sekolah Wawasan to launch the Kem Membaca 1 Malaysia.

6. On the 13th of Nov, this Friday, Children's Day celebration will be held at the hall. At the same time, the talentime competition will be held from 8.00 am - 1.00 pm. Altogether, there will be 28 groups that will present their dances.

7. The UPSR result expect to be announced on 17th Nov. Keep update with the news on tv.

8. This year, graduation and farewell dinner for year 6 will be held at Sek. Sri Sedaya on the 20th Nov.

9. The gathering of ex-6M students of year 2005 on 14th Nov at USJ 13 have been postponed to another date that will be announced later. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Today, after the English Storytelling Competition, the teachers of this school received a shocking news. Our headmistress will leave the school officially from today afternoon and will report to a new school. (not yet known). So, our school will receive a new headmistress. She will be from Gombak District. More details not known till now when this post was posted. Will keep inform.

Today, 16 September 2009, our school hosts the English Storytelling & Written Competition Petaling Perdana District at the school hall. Our school representatives got consolation and special prize. It was a success and during interval time, 3 performances was performed by our school students. The champion is from SJKC Lick Hung and the 2nd is SJKC Subang. Congrats to everyone.

WE ARE THE CHAMPION

At last. We are the champion in the just concluded MSSD Basketball District Level. In the first round, we lost to Lick Hung but beat Kung Man. In the second round, we beat Serdang 2 and Chee Wen. In the semi-final, we beat Serdang 1. In the final, we really come back from behind to beat Lick Hung. It was a really nail-bitting competition. Many teachers and students came out in full force to give support. In the extra time (5 min), we really really make Lick Hung players heart break. We scored and scored. When the last bell sound, the supporters, players, teachers and coaches run to the middle of the court to hug each other. It was a really "heart attack" match. Luckily no one fainted. At last, we can stand proud.

Last year, we achieved the best UPSR result in Selangor beating Lick Hung. This year, basketball competition. And.......somemore...... We will try to be champion again for the 3rd consecutive time in Syarahan Bahasa Melayu. Last year we beat SJKC Subang who had been champion for many many years in syarahan. They will be in full force to take revenge. Nevermind....the sifu of syarahan-Cikgu Lee will try his best to make them bite their finger nail again. Well, thats all for now.

13/4/09 - The wife of the Prime Minister of Msia will be visiting the Vision School. She will be launching a computer programme project. Time : 9 am - 12 pm. Around 600 - 700 VVIP's, VIP's, press etc will be attending this function.
19/4/09 - Vision School Sport's Day. Time : 8 am - 12 pm. Well, ex-students are welcome........

Notice to all ex year 6 students of 2008 - The prize giving ceremony for the UPSR Excellence Reward will be on during the PIBG AGM meeting on Sunday, 22 March 2009. Special notice to ex-students : Students can come and take the sch magazine if DO NOT ve bro or sis studying in TTCL. Only 1 magazine per family. You can take the magazine fr the library teachers (Mdm Ten or Mrs Cheng) from 9 am onwards Monday 19/1 or when you are free after the mentioned date.
As for the headmaster farewell function, it will start from 10am at the school hall (Dewan Wawasan) on Wed 21/1. From 730 - 915am, there will be CNY celebration in our sch. Hello everyone (: Shu Faye here. Cikgu Khor passed the pictures to my brother this morning, and my brother passed it to me when i got home from school. As you all know, I'm in secondary school now, SMK13. Everything's totally different here compared to primary school, so I'm still trying to fit in. So anyways, enjoy the pictures. 2/1/09- HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone. For information, our new sch HM is MISS NG JUAT WAH. She is formerly fr SJKC Soo Jin, Klang. To new headmistress- WELCOME to SJKC TTCL. By the way, for the coming Chinese New Year, the Saturday replacement classes will be on 17/1 and 14/2. Tat means 1 week long CNY holiday.......hurray. There will be a farewell party for our ex-HM -Mr. Tan on 21/1 in skul. On the same day, we will ve CNY celebration in the sch together wit the other 2 schs. 9/12/08 was a sad day. The school's ex-student by the name of Chung Chee Mun (6M-2005) has passed away due to illness. He was an average student throughout the years at TTCL. Many ex-students and his friends had come to pay their last respect. The fan club would like to extend our condolence to the family of Chee Mun. May his soul rest in peace.........

Hi everyone, I was so touched and surprised to be chosen for 1 of the school representative for form 4 ex-students (session 2005 ). Well, anyway, thanks to the fascilitator for allowing me to post a comment over here. Firstly, congratulations to all the commitee members and ex-students who helped out to form this fan club. Secondly, SJKC TTCL is a great school to study in. The teachers were not only well trained in their respectives subjects, they were also caring and helpful. Throughout the years, we were taught on moral values as well- on how to respect teachers, parents, elders and most important, how to be a good citizen.
Thirdly, as the years go on, at last-SJKC TTCL received tremendous support from the communities. I think its due to the effort from the PIBG and school. My ex-teacher told me that, every year the enrolment for kindergarten and year 1 increases. And this year, the UPSR results proved it all. A job well done by all the teachers- I salute you all. But sadly, our great HM was transfered to other school when we are at the peak now. Well, to all my ex-teachers, you deserved to be called GREAT TEACHERS. I think thats all for now.

From time to time, I will post news about the achievement or information about the school.
Recently, it has been announced by JPS that our school has achieved excellent results in UPSR 2008 and declared the BEST SJKC in Selangor. For all school categories (inc. SK & SJKT), we are number 9. Salute and congrats to all teachers and parents, thus not forgetting PIBG and the students themselves for making this a memorable day. We managed to to beat our nearest rival, who had been at the top for most of the time.
Well, this fan club is set-up for all who support this Chinese school.
